After a full, comprehensive rebrand, the University of Mississippi needed a vehicle to support its capital campaign efforts. Through discovery, interviews, and workshops, Ologie crafted a campaign strategy to build awareness, motivate gift giving, and help all internal parties align successfully.
I led design on this project, creating a campaign brand that honored and fit into the established system. One of the significant insights from the discovery phase was that there’s a divide in the alumni body: people in favor of change, and those in favor of history.
Using this as a guide, we focused on the audiences of ‘heritage’ and ‘modern spirit’ while crafting the creative work, leading to the development of “Now and Ever” as a rallying cry for the campaign. We added a new brand color, the chartreuse green Le Fleur, to invigorate and energize the campaign’s visual design. Deliverables for this work included a campaign mark, social media ad content, campaign email design, direct mail pieces, a microsite, and updated brand guidelines.
